Photography Terms

Welcome to Royal Lourens Photography! Below are the terms and conditions that help ensure a smooth and successful experience for both you and us. Please read through them carefully.

Booking & Payment

• Full Payment: The full payment is required to secure your booking. Payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm your session.
  
  

Travel Costs

• Local Travel (Frankfort): Free
  
  

• Nearby Areas (0-20km outside Frankfort): Free
  
  

• Longer Distances (20km+): R5 per km after the first 20km
  
  

• Out-of-Town Full-Day Travel: Custom quote based on distance and time

Copyright & Usage

• Photo Ownership: All photos taken during the session remain the property of Royal Lourens Photography.
  
  

• Client Usage: Clients have full rights to use the photos as they wish for personal purposes (printing, sharing on social media, etc.).
  
  

• Social Media Sharing: Royal Lourens Photography reserves the right to share selected images on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Clients must provide verbal or text confirmation for us to post their images.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Weather & Unforeseen Events: If bad weather or an unforeseen event (e.g., illness) forces the need to reschedule, we will work with you to find a new date.
  
  

• Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time for your session. If you’re running late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but the session time may be reduced accordingly.

Turnaround Time

• Editing & Delivery: Final edited images will be delivered within 2 weeks after the session date. We’ll send you a link to download your high-resolution photos.
  
  

• Rush Orders: If you need your images sooner, a rush fee may apply.

Client Responsibilities 

• Outfits: Please choose your outfits ahead of time. 

• Location: If your session is location-based, you’re responsible for any location permits or fees. Let us know if you have a particular spot in mind. 

• Punctuality: To ensure we get the most out of your session, please arrive on time. If you're late, it may shorten your shooting time.
